La Rosiere as snow much to offer all abilities

The Slopes
To begin with, la Rosiere has a wide range of different slope types.
From the gentle green and blue runs for beginners, to harsher reds and blacks that even give experienced skiers a challenge.
There are also a number of jump parks which I’ve always enjoyed, using gentle ramps and going over small jumps making me feel like a pro and getting the thrill from skiing.
We found a jump park a few years ago, with a series of gentle hills on a track helping you build up speed and even some air time (if you want to). That has to be my favourite run.
You can also take lessons to build skills and get familiar with the resort, including a run you can ski over from France to Italy, la Thuile
There is such a range of slopes, parks, and runs, even some off-piste tracks I like to use (but experience is key for those plus you need to know your way around pretty well).

The Resort and Entertainment
I’m more of a ski in the morning, chill in the afternoon kind of person (unlike my brother and dad who like to ski all day).
So, in the afternoons I tend to relax at the apartment and go on snowy walks through the forests linking les Eucherts and la Rosiere. Feeling like I’m stepping into Narnia, the forests and views are incredible (as long as you wrap up warm).
In the past, we’ve watched snowboarding displays in the afternoon and nighttime torch skiing. Word of warning though, wear sun cream and stay hydrated. Although it doesn’t feel warm, the sun up in altitude is vicious plus with it reflecting off the snow makes for some impressive sunburn.

The Food !
French alpine food. What the real highlight of the holiday is. Some of the most unhealthy and delicious food I’ve ever had.
Just think of every single way to combine bread, cheese, and ham into dishes. Not so good for vegetarians, though.
As well as classic French cakes and pastries for breakfast, if you venture along the route to Italy, the food is a whole other story… Tiramisu, pasta, and pizza, classic Italian favourites that don’t disappoint.
There’s also more than enough places for burgers, pizza, and soup slope side too; a hot chocolate break is usually the case with me when the weather gets tough.
There’s also an amazing café that I’ve been to for years called ‘aux trois oules’ (meaning our three bears), located in les Eucherts doing the best crepes, bruschetta, and raclettes that I have ever had. At this point, they even recognise us!
Extras, Tips and Trick

Driving plan with an Electric car to the Alps
If you have never driven to the Alps from the UK before its really not hard with abit of planning.
We would recommend an early Euro Tunnel the day before arrival and a stop over at either Beaune or Dijon.
The following day is an easy 4 hours with traffic direct the the resort of Le Rossier.

La Rossier Accommodation reviews
We have stayed 5 times in la Rosiere and always recommend an apartment with self-catering to save costs.
We always aim for a breathtaking view apartment as this is what la Rosiere is all about.
